Time to Move On

the time has come for me to move on
the sun is up and shining
as my wishes speed toward the sky
the seasons have turned, changing day by day
nothing stands still as time waits for no one
the past has left its mark on me
making me the person that i am
its difficult leaving the things that you know and understand
going on a journey of unfamiliarity
i dont know whats in store
as i walk the pathway of the future
but i do know
a change has come
